Guillamón: "The team are aware of the situation, but we won't stop trying"
Hugo Guillamón spoke to VCF MEDIA after the 1-1 draw between Valencia CF and Cádiz CF on LaLiga Matchday 17 de LaLiga, expressing his disappointment at missing out on the three points. He underlined his confidence in the team to continue working hard to turn the situation around.
The effort from the team
"We wanted the three points. It was an important game here at home. The team gave everything and tried hard, right to the end. It hurts when you have a dynamic like this and the opposition go ahead. We are convinced that we can get through this, with the efforts of everybody."
Competing until the end
"We knew the kind of play that Cádiz were going to provide, and prepared for that. We tried to have possession of the ball. We created chances in the first half, and in the second half we tried to keep going and not allow them many opportunities, and In an isolated move they scored against us. It hurt us, but the team kept going, pushed on and got the equaliser."
Not giving in
"The team are aware of the situation that we are in, but we aren't going to stop trying. We are convinced that we will do it, through hard work from everyone."
Team unity
"The team are united. We would like to have the fans here to give us a boost, but we feel their support from home. We are going to give our all, for them and for us."
